I'm not a butterfly expert but this looks like a Red Admiral to me. What is interesting is the bug...it has the same coloring as the butterfly. Came across this pair at Lake Erie Metro Park, getting nectar from a milkweed flower. There were some beautiful wild flowers in bloom...more pics tomorrow. Click on picture to enlarge.
