Black Swallowtail

It's butterfly season and I have been out and about chasing these beautiful "flying flowers". Some of them are a bit beat up. The tiger swallowtail was missing one of it's "tails".
Will be out at Lake Erie tomorrow, bright and early. My family still can't believe that I go to the Crack O'Dawn Coffee Club because I have never, ever been a morning person. Crack of dawn...ya, right.
