Don't go, our fearless leader

Ulanawa created this picture...isn't it great? It totally represents our club with Gerry in the center. He has lead this group from the beginning...long before I joined. He is a wealth of information on anything that is nature related and knows the park from front to back. I love his sense of humor.

Anyway, Gerry has announced that he will be retiring in July ( he's way too young) and said that after 30+ years he is ready to try something new. We will so miss him. I hope that the club will continue without him and as strong as it is now.
