Red Tail Hawk
It was a beautiful day yesterday, cold but sunny. Headed down to Lake Erie and spotted this Red Tail Hawk not far from the park entrance.
Met a gentleman in the parking lot who was going birding on the Trapper's Run Trail and asked me to join him. He said he had been birding for about 10 years. We had a nice walk and saw a few songbirds and woodpeckers. Invited him to join us for Crack of Dawn. No one that I invite ever comes....I think because it is at the crack of dawn ;-)
Ice Daze this Saturday and Sunday. Plan on going later in the day Saturday for the Owl Walk and later the bonfire.
