Monet Garden at the Overland Park Arboretum

I have never been to Monet's garden in Giverny, France ( oh, I wish I had gone when I was in France) but the Master Gardeners at the Overland Park Arboretum did a complete study of the garden...the flowers, Monet's color choices and so on. This garden is so beautiful and if you go early before others people come it is heaven! In June the iris and peony were still in bloom but past their prime, however, the poppies were gorgeous (one of my favorite flowers). Roses were at their peak. The garden in general was healthy and well kept. Also in profusion were the clematis. Benches everywhere with a spectacular and restful view.
