Thomas Edison Complex at Greenfield Village

It is interesting to see how backward all the equipment was...then I remembered there was no electricity until Edison invented it. So, the laboratories and other work areas had a lot of windows for day time work but also was wired for light for grey days and evenings. All very interesting but I neglected to take any  photos of the outside of the buildings to give you an idea of the size and so on....next time. It will give me an excuse to go back again!

Note light fixtures

I love this door knob that was in an office area . Even the latch plate was decorative.
