I HATE SPARROWS!
These darn house sparrows are the bane of my bird watching life. I can't feed the birds in my backyard because of them...they will empty the feeder in a day. This spring they cost me over $500 because they were nesting behind my back gutters. It was a mess. Living in suburbia, I guess we have to put up with them and pigeons but I get so jealous when I hear my fellow birders talk about all the cool birds that they get in their yards. I have to go to a park or a friends to see just an ordinary Oriole.
