Sweetest Heart of Mary, Detroit

I have seen some magnificent churches in my travels....so many in fact that I was begging for mercy "no more churches, please"
I have seen Notre Dame in Paris, St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, St. Paul Cathedral in London, Cathedrals in Milan and Florence, the Basilica in Assisi and more. They were beyond description, massive and more than beautiful. So, of course Sweetest Heart is small and in need of a few repairs, but it is also so beautiful and should be treasured by the city of Detroit.

This massive stained glass window and one directly across from it were the highlights of the church.
