After the holidays are over, January and February stretched out to make the winter a long and dreary prospect. That's why I so appreciate the photo shoots that I go on with Barb and Mary Jo. On Friday it was a cold and bitter day when we went to the Belle Isle conservatory. It was so beautiful and relaxing. Afterwards we went to Greektown to Pegasus for lunch....Saganaki, moussaka and spinach pie........yum! Then if that weren't enough, we crossed the street to the Astoria bakery. Talk about dying and going to sweet heaven, it was awesome. We just gawked at all the wonderful sweet delights and of course we bought, some more than others.....ha!
