Looking for Spring

I took a ride through Lake Erie Metropark the other day to see what was going on in nature. I did not see any Red-winged Blackbirds but heard them all around me....a sure sign that spring is just around the corner! Also saw a flock of of Robins, 3 little Chickadees and a small flock of American Tree Sparrows (see picture below). The weather was cold and gloomy and actually pretty depressing so seeing all these birds cheered me up immensely. Also I really never got out of the car so I was lucky to see so much. On the 12th daylight savings time begins...
