I am happy to report that the finches are back in town...both the House Finch and the Goldfinch. I made an effort to get safflower seed to feed the cardinals but as you can see the feeder is empty. I just had filled it a few hours ago and the sparrows emptied it all out on the ground. I am so discouraged because I hoped they wouldn't eat these seeds....bummer!
