Sometimes in August there is not much nature about...especially on a hot day. I went to Flat Rock to a small field of sunflowers to find that most of them were about done.......I was about 2 weeks too late. Also, I was not happy with my photos. Again my lens just was not up to the job.
Interesting that this bug is the same colors as the flower....hoping to not be noticed I guess.
There was a big flock of Cedar Waxwings at Huroc Park....a flock may also be called a "museum" of an "earfull". Don't ask me who comes up with this stuff.
Just a few turtles sunning themselves, like this guy.
A Green Heron....darn, I wish for a stronger lens.
At Oakwoods....no darn butterflies at all!
