Tufted Titmouse

This little bird has such personality. She's looking down as if to say "I see you down there and I don't think that I gave you permission to take my picture"  OK, maybe I'm over thinking the situation but she is so cute, non-the-less.

Last Chance Parade

You will be glad to hear, my blog followers, that this is the last of the parade photos. I have been thinking back, fondly, to Thursday, with it's bright sunny skies and moderate temperatures. We had out first dusting of snow this morning and it has been cold, windy and very gloomy.

A happy day was had by all...well, everyone that I know. When we were driving around Detroit to avoid traffic on Thanksgiving, we came by Family Neighborhood Services and the homeless were lined up. Sad to see.

I wonder..... will Honey Boo Boo grow up to look like this?
 I love this photo

The man himself.... Christmas is just around the corner!

Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade #2

I think this photo has a "from the old days" look

This band was really entertaining....from St. John

 For Allison  "Peace sister"
Chippewa Valley Marching Band from Clinton, Michigan...most precise band that I saw and look ..no music sheets!
Emma this could be you!

I could have used a drink of something by this time! Three hour parade they said on the news.

Happy Thanksgiving at the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade

I had a great Thanksgiving and I hope that you did too! Went to the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade and took about 350 photos...you will be seeing most of them in the next few days...Oh, no!
Went downtown with Susan and Debbie and afterward, Debbie took us to lunch at the MGM Grand Casino. So, I had my Thanksgiving dinner (which was great) and I can save my Rachael Ray turkey meatballs for another day. ;-)

Detroit Public Schools Marching Band

Reminds me of son #1....the cyclist not the clown....well, now, come to think of it?????
"I'm bad, I'm bad, I know it....."
Local sports heroes (Detroit Lion not a hero in the city today)  :-(

Saw all these floats at the Detroit Parade Company last spring when our class went on a photo shoot there.

Debbie and Susan
love this photo of Debbie...pretty intense

Really deserted on Thanksgiving . The food was wonderful. We had a great meal. Thanks, Debbie
