March

Kaye E Barker

Kaye E. Barker, Great Lake ship headed to Ashtabula, Ohio. How do I know this you may ask? I have a great app on my phone called Marine Traffic and have a lot of fun tracking "my fleet" around the world. A bit of haze out on the lake so no clear image.

Social Distancing

Well, it is apparent that these gulls are not practising social distancing although they don't have to worry about contracting Coronavirus. I went down to Lake Erie Metropark because I was going crazy at home. I want to reassure everyone that I didn't even get out of my car. All photos taken were from my car window.
I couldn't believe how many people were at the park. It was a free day and the weather was beautiful. People were walking, running, walking dogs, riding bicycles, fishing and boating. And if course, many people are off work.
Not much to photograph but look at the great color. I must say that it did me a world of good to get out and about. I have been through drive throughs....pharmacy and food but this seemed like a real excursion.
I am hoping that this will all end soon and that all of you are safe and healthy.

Lockdown

This is where I've been hiding during the CoronaVirus. Last night at midnight our governor mandated that we all stay home except to get vital needs like food or medication. I guess we are allowed out for fresh air but must keep 6' distance from others. Well, I'm sure you are all following this on the news so I don't have to fill you in. I did actually start cleaning kitchen cupboards but my happy place is at my craft table where I am working on 2 new journals. One week ago I got my hair done but other than that I've had no close contact with anyone. My son and granddaughter were here but I just talked to them through the door......boohoo. It gets pretty boring and the on-going news is getting more and more depressing. A Dairy Queen did help a little.....lol

Rainy Day

It is so depressing that everything is closed including the conservatory where I shot these beautiful flowers. Of course the island itself is still open but what rainy weather we are having. No restaurants, no movies, no library, no a lot of things .... we are really making sacrifices. Glad that last week I had a really nice lunch with some friends, got my hair done and did some shopping....now if I can only find some toilet paper I'll be all set.

Earley Easter

I know that it is a bit early for Easter decorations but I couldn't resist. Usually I'm not home for the Easter holiday so all my decorations have been sitting in a bin. Home this year and I am really enjoying the decorations. Praying for an early end to this virus so that we can all go to church on Easter Sunday.

Going to go back to see what this is going to be.
