Two Egrets and Two Blue Herons

 

There was this little spot on the Belle Isle that I saw these birds as well as the geese and the eagles. Maybe because the road is closed off so there is very little traffic. The herons are hard to distinguish because on is in front of the other.

Belle Isle is being invaded by Canada Geese.....flocks everywhere....droppings everywhere. Can't they thin out the herd?

 

Bald Eagle

 I was so focused on this geese family that it wasn't until I got home and on the computer that I noticed there is a Bald Eagle in the background.  

Then, I saw a gal with a camera shooting something so I took a shot myself. I didn't have my binoculars so I couldn't see what it was. Now, I can see that it may be a juvenile Bald Eagle. I'm going to remember this area to check it out again when I'm on the island next time
