A Walk in the Park

Path lined with yellow wildflowers
When we have these hot summer days, I cherish a cool one. I had a list of about 5 places that I wanted to go but picked Kensington for an early morning walk. It was beautiful and I never saw another human on the whole trail until I got back to the parking lot.
Butterflies weed (no butterflies about though)
 Sandhill Crane
 Balancing act
 Crown Vetch
 Blue Jay

 American Goldfinch
 Mallow
Lovely sky...the clouds look like dollops of fresh cream
Note the Sandhill Cranes in the enlarged square
Milkweed
