Nathaniel Russell House

Charleston

 On Meeting Street
We had a lovely day in Charleston, visiting first the Russell House and next door, the graveyard of the Old Scot Presbyterian Church. When we were eating lunch it started to rain so after we did a driving tour going to White Pointe Gardens, the Battery and Rainbow Row.

This cantilevered staircase is not in use due to the heavy traffic of tourists....we did use the stairs about 20 years ago when we came with my Mom to see the house. It is so beautiful and an amazing sight.

Ha, there's my daughter in the mirror.
