Summer Flowers

A variety of Acantus
Canna
When I am at Brookgreen in the spring it is all tulips, poppies and azaleas. But early summer brings all the perennials and annuals and lots of Hydrangeas. So many of the gardens have been redone and many more hydrangeas have been planted. The Live Oak Allee has been planted with Caladium which are just starting to come up...the are bulbs. As to these tall flowers planted in the Allee, I'm not sure of the variety but they are Acantus.

 Dragonfly on lily bud.
