Crack O' Dawn September

Nice little group for our walk today...great morning although it clouded up later in the day. Saw hundreds of swallows catching bugs over the marsh. Soon they will be leaving for the winter.
Paul, our interpreter, telling us about turkey foot grass at the meadow
 Bag worms....uck!
Every month I seem to take a photo in this spot....guess I love the light.
Note, behind the group, the trail is flooded so we had to turn around and go back. Lake Erie is like a bathtub, It sloshes back and forth and when the wind blows from the east it pushes the water to shore.
This lady was not happy that she couldn't get past the water on the trail. Wow, she scowled at us like it was our fault the trail was flooded.
Lotus seed pod....still a lot of flowers blooming.
Our group chitchatting....what we are best at...lol....that and eating donuts.
 Looking over the marsh
