Alvin
Kensington Metropark is overrun with chipmunks and you can hear their "chip, chip" all thru the woods. They are so cute especially when their checks are all puffed out with food. My Dad hated them and would sit out on the back steps with a pellet gun and shoot them. I got so upset with him. Where I live now, there are no chipmunks but plenty of squirrels.

To My Aunt Pauline in Heaven
Dear Aunt Pauline,
As long as I can remember, you have loved songbirds so here is a picture of a little Titmouse for you.
There is no need for you to suffer anymore. I hope that you are now at peace.
You will be missed by us all.
Last of the Summer Wine
I shot these pictures on the 16th....so not that long ago but it seems like summer. Since, we have had cool, wet weather and a few early frosts. Sad to see all the colorful flowers go.
These look like tomatoes but I think they are actually a pepper
Small or miniature Cleome.

Feeding Songbirds at Kensington
Red-bellied Woodpecker
I had a lovely walk at Kensington Metropark this morning.......many hungry birds out there and I soon made friends.
Ran into these lovely ladies who enjoyed feeding the birds....look at that little Chickadee.

Frankenmuth
Iconic Zenders
It was so windy and chilly that we never even walked down main street. On the way home it rained....just not a good weather day. We did stop at Bonner's and some people that I know spent lots of money....I stayed in the car. lol
We enjoyed the day out and loved our lunch (we were in the main dining room which is so pretty) white table clothes and all....no plastic here.
On the way home.......without clouds
With clouds, lol

Looks like New England....
...... but it's Dearborn, Michigan! I posted a picture of this house and door a few months ago. Never realized the door was orange because in the summer it's always opened. Orange, very fitting for fall.
The Sparrows are loving this display.
Reflections....a perfect day for colorful reflections. Have a few more to post. I love taking photos through the inside looking out but this is the just the opposite.

Crosswinds Marsh
Last week I went out to the marsh...first time this year. It was blustery and no one was there, kind of eerie and I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was there. Colors just starting to change.
Way off in the distance is an eagle's nest and next to it a Bald Eagle resting in a tree......wish I had a longer lens.
