The Whitney

 

We had our Thanksgiving meal at the Whitney in Detroit. I have never been there during daylight hours and had forgotten how beautiful it is. We really enjoyed the food and the great service

Decorated for the holidays

I loved this guy....he was really into his music and played "Blue Skies" one of my favorites. He put his own jazzy spin on it. I enjoyed listening to his playing.

Fall Back

 

Today we went back to Eastern Standard Time marking the end of Autumn as far as I'm concerned. We had an absolutely beautiful fall and even today is sunny and pleasant. Leaves are falling everywhere but the big Oak next door is just starting. I'm probably one of the few people that enjoy the evening light fading at 5pm. Time to put jammies on and relax for the evening.
