                        Many years ago I received this plant free with a bulb order. Every May it comes up like clock work......blooms and later fades away. It survives cold winter temperatures although it is an African species. I love the delicate flowers and soft lavender color. Plants are amazing!

 Alligators sunning themself on a warm spring day. From the causeway at Huntington Beach State Park
