Red Bridge

 

I have photographed this Belle Isle bridge many times but I have to admit that I have never walked across it.

   It looks like the city is right on the other side of the park when in fact there is a river between. I never   tire of the city scenes from different areas of the park.

    I have taken so many photographs of this fountain that I try to get different angles that I've never         tried before. I heard that they have several million dollars invested to begin a fountain restoration.

A New Visitor

 

This male Downey Woodpecker came to my hummingbird feeder the last two mornings....drank and drank for quite some time. Will watch out for him tomorrow.

These are not good photos but I was afraid to scare him off
