Little Blue Heron
Caught this Small Blue Heron at Brookgreen and wondered if he was the same one that might have flown over from the state park. He calmly sat there for quite awhile even though there were a lot of people around the reflection pool.
Off he goes!
The problem that I had in getting these shots was the background. In editing was able to crop out the offensive male genitalia. We did get a laugh out of the photos though........this guy was letting it all hang out.....lol!

Stork, 2nd Stork, Great Blue Heron and a Great Egret
Snowy
I think that the Snowy Egret can be so comical the way they stand, like this one on one leg with beak tucked in.

Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory
Walking into the conservatory from the very cold outside, you are surrounded by warm, humid air. Feels so good but also steams up my camera lens....lol

Belle Isle in Winter
I choose a very gloomy and bitter cold day to visit Belle Isle. It was good getting out though and I didn't stray too far from my car. I did visit the conservatory which was worth the trip. There is nothing like a cold winter's day to appreciate the warmth and humidity of this beautiful place. I'll be posting photos from the conservatory soon.
