Magnolia Plantation

Wow, what a fabulous place to visit! I really enjoyed walking through the gardens....they were so beautiful as were the bridges. We took a nature tram ride and saw some great wildlife ...I will post critter pictures tomorrow. We did not tour the house or take the boat ride and will save those for next year. I was really pooped out after hours of walking.
I would recommend this plantation to everyone...it is just northwest of downtown Charleston. It was about a 2 hour drive for us.
Allison and I are going this evening to Brookgreen to catch some soft light to take photos of the gardens and flowers in particular. The weather has been lovely...sunny but not too hot. Link for gardens below.....
