Tea at the Cotswold Cottage Greenfield Village
Well, there's a story about tea at the cottage. It was on hold for 2 years because of Covid only restarting last weekend. It has proven to be a huge success. I waited in the hot sun for over 45 minutes to be seated. It doubled in price as well but despite all that, I really enjoyed the experience. The cherry chicken salad on a croissant was fabulous as was the scone....yum! I'm hoping that next year they will go back to 4 days a week. I usually avoid going to the village on the weekends because of the crowds but it was nice to see so many activities going on like the band(previous post) More photos coming soon.

Change is good, right?
The conservatory is closed for a 10 million dollar renovation and won't reopen until next year. It makes me so sad because I especially love being there in the winter months. They are replacing the glass in the dome and I don't know what else. I wish that at least the garden outside of the conservatory was open ...it's really beautiful.
The Nancy Brown Peace Carillon Towers also needs work....the carillon is not working and the area around the tower is in a real mess. I'm sure that this treasure will eventually be restored.

What beautiful color!
