Belle Isle Casino

 I am sorry that I was unable to get any pictures of the main room as they were setting up for an event....in fact, that's the only reason that I was able to get in at all. So, I just focused on details. I would have loved to go upstairs but was afraid to trespass any further as I though that there may be offices there.
There is a long history of this building which was originally built in 1887 and was a wood structure. It burnt down and was rebuilt in 1907. The building was never used for gambling but as a gathering place for events etc. Casino is a word also used to mean a public place used for entertainment.
