Crack O' Dawn May
I haven't been to Crack O' Dawn for three months and have really missed my COD friends. We had a lovely walk this morning, with great weather and many birds to see. Thanks to Kevin for pointing them all out to us. I started the morning,as I drove in, seeing a Great Blue Heron. On our walk we saw Egrets, Osprey fishing, Red-Tailed Hawk, Gnatcatcher, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Common Yellow Throat, Yellow Warbler, Yellow -Rumped Warbler, White Throated Sparrow, White Crowned Sparrow, Wrens, Thrush and more that I'm sure I forgot. Can't wait until next Saturday when we have the "Welcome Home Birds" event with walks at 7am and 1pm. Hope to see you for that early 7 am walk!

I love the shadows in this picture. It sure is good to see things starting to green.

What a great day.....
Sitting here editing photos and eating nachos (have enough left over from Joe Kools to have 2 more meals). It was a warm and beautiful sunny day and we got some great tulip shots. Enjoyed the day with Barb and Mary Jo. There is nothing like having friends to share your hobby with.

Tulips
White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan
This is where we are shooting tomorrow. I was there in 2012 when I took these photos ....tulips galore! Between the tulip photos from SC and my back yard, these will put me over the top for a tulip overdose....ha! Wisteria
In the area where my family lives in SC, Wisteria grows wild, climbing up trees and making a beautiful show. This photo was taken at Brookgreen where it covered a trellis.
