When I was in nursing school in New Castle, Pa. I had a friend (and my dance partner), Hebie Travis. Hebie had a brand new '61 Chevy, a goldish color...it was beautiful. Back in the day on Friday and Sat. evenings we would hang out at McDonald's. We would back into a space and wait for all the guys to come "cruisin" around. The parking lot was where it was all happening. We would wait for Hebie and his friend Tom Campbell in that fantastic car that we all admired so much. It was a boat it was so long.I heard years later that Hebie was a used car salesman...so appropriate!
