Since the wind had been blowing in in from the west all night, the water was pushed out and was at a low level around Cherry Island. Gerry, our fearless leader, took this opportunity to do a little exploring in an area that is normally underwater. He found a mustard jar form the 50s, a soft drink bottle bottom from the 40s and a pink mussel (pictured above)
We had an invigorating walk and then had breakfast after....by the time I got home it was time for a nap. :-)
Lovely pics of today's walk!! A bunch of us ventured over to Oakwoods after and Veronica got them to get the turtles out for me to handle. :)
