When the tide is out, as in these photos, there is nor much going on at this salt water marsh...but wait, there are so many small creatures not seen that make up this habitat. There seem to be more shore birds when the tide is up but it is a busy place always. In the back ground of the photo below you see some type of oysters. When the tide first goes out they spout water...really cool to see.
