Mother's Day Bird Walk

Went on a bird walk both Saturday and Sunday at Lake Erie Metropark. The weather was not good...cold and overcast. In fact, when I got up this morning it was only 37 degrees...ugh!
Between the two days we saw so many birds plus a lot of other things. We saw a little mink crossing on a log over one of the canals. Also saw a Coopers Hawk sitting on her nest plus 3 different Loons flying over and an eagle this morning. We saw Herons and Egrets and of course there were the usual "residents" like, Robins, Cardinals, Jays, Chickadees, Red-breasted Woodpecker and Titmice but there were many migratory song birds. Here is what we saw: Ruby-crowned Kinglet,  Blackurnian Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Ovenbird, Catbird, Phoebe, Baltimore Oriole, Flicker, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher,  Black and white Warbler and a Hermit Thrush.

My not so good pictures of a  Gray Catbird,
 Eastern Phoebe
 Hermit Thrush

and a Baltimore Oriole pair.
