Painted Bunting

This is the best that I could get but I am so happy to have seen this beautiful guy this morning at the nature center at the state park! (even though he turn his head away from me)
Rainy day today and I almost got caught in a real downpour at Brookgreen. Got to the restaurant just in time. Despite the weather I managed to get some great photos. In fact, since I arrived here I have taken hundreds of pictures and don't know what I am going to do with them all. Many edits and choices how to present them on my blog , Facebook and Flickr . I can't see the point of takin photos if I can't share them.
I am having a great time and don't miss home yet although I think my daughter may be getting a little sick of me :-)
