Tomorrow is Crack O' Dawn at 7 am sharp for coffee and breakfast snacks...yum! It will be cool and windy in the morning. When the wind blows in from the east Lake Erie washes ashore. It is like a big bathtub sloshing around. Well, the trail that we usually walk is right at the shore in places and I am sure we will not go that way tomorrow. We will probably take Trapper's Run Trail instead....usually more birds along this way.
Next week I signed up to go to the Lantern Walk at Oakwoods Metropark. I have never been before so don't know what to expect but I think there is a hayride first, riding to the Nature Center area and then a hike in the woods. The trail will be lite with Jack O' Lanterns. It sounds like fun. A few of our COD group are going as well.
