I must tell you how beautiful the conservatory is on Belle Isle. For several years it was a sad place to go...neglected that's for sure. Now, it seems some money has been invested and they have been working hard to improve the conservatory. They have cut back or removed old and unattractive plants, and planted so many new things, especially underplantings. Everything is neat and tidy. In the winter it is my favorite place to go.
This is an interesting fern.
Yes, and there are big plants there as well. I often wonder how they keep them under control and prevent them from bursting through the roof.
Something used to be here because I have never seen this wall before. I love the patina!
