When I was at The Village and walking through this beautiful garden, I remembered by first trip to England in 1992. We stayed in the small village of Bosworth at the manor house which had been turned into a hotel. The town was so lovely. We took a stroll through the town and in front of someone's cottage was a garden such as this....filled with wonderful June flowers.
Bosworth is in Leicester and is famous for the Battle of Bosworth Field where King Richard III was killed in 1485. The legend goes that his crown was thrown from his head and landed dangling from a hedge. So much history there.
Anyway, Henry Ford had this cottage moved, stone by stone, from the Cotswold area of England, hence Cotswold stone.
