On Thursday I went to Belle Isle to do little photography...it was an overcast and misty day so I thought that these black and whites would fit the mood. It wasn't a bad day to take pictures, I got some good shots. It seemed nothing could brighten the shot above but I wanted to post it because of the birds/ducks in the water.

I don't know why I was surprised to see a Canadian Coast Guard ship.....didn't think about them having a Coast Guard. We have a Coast Guard station right on Belle Isle. I wonder if someone has trouble on the river how is it decided who would respond.
