It is hard to believe that August is past....although by the heat and humidity maybe not. I was just out watering and it is pretty uncomfortable. Took these photos at Lake Erie a few weeks ago when we had that wonderful cool spell. I love the meadow! Will walk by this Saturday with my Crack O' Dawn group and see what is left of it and the lotus pond. I could stay in today but have decided to go to the movie to see "A Walk in the Woods" I have always dreamed of walking the Appalachian Trail so it should be fun and I read the book years back....seems it's been changed a bit for the movie.
