Sunday was a great success for this year's Hawkfest at Lake Erie Metropark. Saturday rained all day so everyone turned out Sunday which was a gorgeous day. I hung out with some friends from my Crack O' Dawn group and also Anne from my photography group. Also heard a presentation by Wayne Pope (famous Michigan nature photographer) .I was disappointed that there were so few raptors this year...no Barn Owl, Red-tails or Eagles.
