The farm at Greenfield Village is a working farm and they use equipment from the old days (which gives you an appreciation of the hard work the farmers of yore had to endure). A lot of teaching goes on and there were tons of day camp kids there. It was amazing that I shot around all these little varmints and kept them out of all my photos. You can see in the photos how healthy the crops look. Planted by hand, probably using manure as fertilizer and no chemicals. There is a field near the the Cotswold Cottage that is planted with wheat (?) that looks ready to harvest.
