Daggett Farmhouse

This farmhouse was built in 1769 in Connecticut and later moved to Greenfield Village. It is a Saltbox style house. When we visited there as well as the Firestone Farm, the ladies were just finishing cleaning up after lunch. The fire was going and it was hot in the kitchens. Behind the house is a raised bed vegetable garden but no barn or out buildings.
 Door to windmill
 Split rail

Wood chopper.....interesting way to stack the logs so air can circulate and dry the wood.
