While at the plantation, we took a tram tour of the lake and marsh. Amazing number of birds nesting there......herons, egrets and anhingas. Amazing that they all seem to get along as they nest in the same tree.
Of course, alligators abound guess that's why the birds nest in trees. We saw the biggest gator in the pond called Baba...ha!
