This is barn #8 on Allen Rd. in Bridgewater Township on the Washtenaw County Historic Barn Tour.
It was as neat as a pin but I think that they kept pigs...what a smell. I guess that I will always be a city girl. I do love being out in such wide open spaces...as you will see in pictures below....beautiful farm land. Many of the barns that we see are no longer in use but the land is still being planted. They no longer build barns like this.
This barn featured red paint with white painted arches and a full-length shed addition.....and pigs!
